HEALTH INSURANCE

Health insurance is a contract between an insurance policyholder and the insurer. Health Insurance plans offer financial coverage for different diseases, surgeries, post-hospitalization costs, medicines, etc. The insurance company reimburses the insured customer for the medical expenses incurred. Health Insurance policies are essential to ease the financial burden and to avail quality and affordable health care. The premium amount paid for the health insurance policies is tax-deductible under Sec 80D of the IT Act.
